Eco Committee

Our Eco Committee was founded by Jasmine from the Year 6 Class of 2023, due to her love of the environment and want to enact change. The Year 6 pupils had been discussing and debating the Gloucester Diocese ‘Journey to net zero’ by 2030 and how we can achieve this.

Children put their names forward to become a member of the Eco Committee. Each class has an Eco Committee representative who meets once a term to raise awareness in the school community and make changes to become more eco-friendly within school and at home. During our Pebble Worship service held at St. James’ Church in September, the new representatives will be given their badges and begin their journey as Eco Committee Members.

Our new representatives will be presented during Pebble Worship on Friday 22nd September 2023. Check back soon for updates!
