A warm welcome to our website

We hope you enjoy learning about our school and what makes it such a special place for our school community. We hope you find this site helpful in providing key information about the school; as well as, giving you an insight into our learning journey. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you need any additional information or wish to visit.

St. James' and Ebrington CofE Primary School is a split-site primary school, which means we are one school with two unique sites situated in the stunning surroundings of the North Cotswolds. One site is in Chipping Campden and one site is in Ebrington. Our St. James' site teaches Reception to Year 6 and our Ebrington site is home to our Preschool class, Nursery (Ebrington's Little Pickles), and our Trust nurture hub. We are part of the North Cotswold Schools Federation Multi-Acadamy Trust, and work closely with our Trust family to work together for a better future for all.

At St. James’ and Ebrington, we believe that love is the connecting thread between all aspects of our school community and interactions with each other, and therefore this is the theological underpinning for our vision.

When you visit our school and spend time with our children and staff, the warm welcome and inclusive atmosphere have developed due to the journey our school has been on and how we have grown - through love - to be a community that celebrates its unique differences but works together to flourish. As Helen Keller says, ‘Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.’

Love of the world created by a loving God enables us to be curious, supported by our enquiry-based curriculum which engenders a love of learning, and

Relationships are at the heart of all we do at St. James’ and Ebrington. Our relational practice requires love, compassion, and respect - all of which take courage and honesty. We have high expectations and encourage the children to develop a love of learning so they can flourish within their learning environment and the wider community. We encourage all of our children to be curious and explore their unique interests and fulfill their potential both academically and outside of the classroom through our enquiry-based curriculum and experiences. The wellbeing of our school family is something we nurture and we believe that supporting our children, staff and parents' wellbeing enables us to grow together and be successful in all aspects of life. We strive to offer equal opportunities for all children and celebrate diversity and equity through our curriculum and experiences. As a school family, we travel together on a journey of love as we learn to respect and grow together as unique individuals.

Please spend some time exploring our website and finding out more about our school and community. We are very proud of our school and visits are always welcome, contact us to arrange a visit.
