Uniform

The school is proud of its image and seeks to promote a high standard of dress to help give the children a sense of pride in school. Please do contact the School Office if you need any help funding school uniform. Our PTFA holds regular second-hand uniform sales which are advertised in our weekly newsletter. We do expect all children to wear the recognised school uniform which is detailed below:

Winter

  • Navy school jumper or cardigan with the school logo

  • Blue polo shirt (with or without the school logo)

  • Grey trousers or a grey skirt/pinafore

  • Grey socks or tights

  • Sensible and well-fitting, easy to fasten black school shoes (no trainers)

  • Warm coat and hat (any)

Summer

  • Blue gingham dress

  • Grey shorts/skirts/culottes

  • Blue polo shirt

  • Grey or white socks

  • School jumper or cardigan

  • Sun hat or cap (any)

PE KIT

Children should have their PE kit in school at all times in a named bag.  The kit consists of a white T-shirt with or without the school logo, navy shorts, navy tracksuit bottoms, navy jumper (with school logo or without large print or designs) and any easy to fasten trainers. Please name everything. 

 

There is no specific coat included in the uniform list although they are available from Wreal Sports.

General Information 

If your child has pierced ears they may wear small plain studs.

Long hair should be tied up. Hair-bands should be in a colour sympathetic to the uniform (blue, black, grey, white).

All clothes should be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Please note that the wearing of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces is discouraged, as these may be dangerous in play situations. Nail varnish and tattoo stickers should not be worn to school.

Please speak to the Head of School regarding wearing jewellery for religious purposes.

For health and safety reasons, items of jewellery, especially earrings, are not allowed during PE activities.
